Calling all Tennis Chicks!  The Women’s Doubles Tournament sign-up deadline is Thursday, February 27, 2025!  Sign-up link here or at bulletin board at courts.  WE WANT YOU!  All proceeds go to Cheer Bears.

CONGRATULATIONS!

To all those who participated in the FIRST EVER SCOV Tennis-Pickleball Mixed Doubles Tournament! Great turnout and lots of new friends made.  Shout out to Ray McAteer for organizing this first ever event, bringing Tennis and Pickleball together on the courts! Atta boy, Ray!  You can still donate to the events charity, Seniors For Kids here.

2025 SPRING DINNER AND CELEBRATION

Mark Your Calendars!  The SCOV Tennis Club BBQ will be April 5, 2025!  Burgers and refreshments will be provided.  More photo fun and a step back in time are on the agenda.  RSVP and more information here!

Announcements! 

  • Wednesday Nite Lites! Upcoming date to participate is February 26, 2025!  Come join the fun.  RSVP and more information here. 
  • Volley Vixens!  Women’s Tennis participants will meet the first Monday of each month at 4:30PM at The Views.  Please email Marge Allen in advance for RSVP.  margbill7@gmail.com  
  • TIME CHANGE!!  Monday-Wednesday-Friday Mixed Doubles will start at 8:00AM for the remainder of the season.  Set your alarm clocks!
  • Mixed Doubles Social is scheduled for Sunday, March 23, 2025 at 1:00PM.  Fun tennis, friends, pizza and drinks will be provided.  Come on down and have pizza and fun! Details and RSVP here.
  • Women’s Tennis Round Robin.  The Final for the Season is scheduled Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at 9:00AM.  Bring a sack lunch, but desserts and drinks provided. 
  • Spread the Word!  Do you know anyone who hasn’t played tennis in a while?  Or is just beginning to explore the game?  We want them to come out and play!  We have set up a time, Tuesday’s at 2:00 PM for anyone who is rusty or would like to learn the game.  Rest assured, there will be a SCOV Tennis Club member there to volley, explain the game and offer suggestions! Let’s encourage our friends and neighbors!
