Keeping You In The Know

The SCOV Pickleball Club recently approached the SCOV Tennis Club to inquire about our interest in having high quality web cameras installed on the Mountain Vista hard courts at little or no cost to the club. These cameras would enable the courts to be continuously monitored by all members with potential for video playback as well. The Tennis Club Board reviewed this proposal and has responded that we believe privacy concerns outweigh the advantages of video court camera installation on tennis courts.

“Why has slamming a ball with a racquet become so obsessive a pleasure for so many of us? It seems clear to me that a primary attraction of the sport is the opportunity it gives to release aggression physically without being arrested for felonious assault.”
