MIXED DOUBLES TOURNAMENT

Game, Set, Match and Conquer!  The Mixed Doubles Tournament is happening in January.  Come on out and cheer on your favorite doubles team.  SEMI-FINALS are Friday, January 23, 2026 at 10:30 AM and 1:00 PM.  FINALS will be played Sunday, January 25, 2026 at 11:00 AM.  CLICK HERE for more info.

The BALL MACHINE

Last year’s purchase of the ball machine has proven to be a great asset for our club. It’s getting a lot of use. But we have a responsibility to take care of it. Please remember the rules for Ball Machine use:

 

  • You must be a member of the SCOV Tennis club to use this machine.
  • You must be trained to use this machine. Contact these members for training: Al Oakland: 520-907-2641 or John Riehm: 415-823-3739.
  • Once you are officially trained, you will be given the code to unlock the ball machine.
  • You must sign in the notebook with date and time of use.
  • Always return the machine to the closet, cover the balls with the cloth, LOCK IT!

Women’s Round Robin Event!

January 21, 2026 is the Ladies Round Robin Event.  We gather at 8:45 AM with a 9:00 AM start time. Balls, drinks and dessert are provided.  Bring a bag lunch. Come on down and have some fun!  Sign-up can be found at the Bulletin Board at the courts.

Mark your calendars for the Mixed Doubles Social Event, February 1, 2026 at 1:00 PM. Play some tennis and then enjoy pizza, beer and fun.  Sign up at the Bulletin Board at the courts!   

 

ANNOUNCEMENTS!

  • WEDNESDAY NITE LITES.  Dates in January are the 14th and 28th.  Starting time is 4:00 PM.  Bring balls, drinks and a snack to share, family, and friends. This tennis is for fun and a social event. You don’t even have to play, you can just come and visit. No sign-ups necessary.

  • MONDAY LADIES OF TENNIS HAPPY HOUR.  The next Ladies of Tennis Happy Hour will be February 2, 2026 at 4:30 PM at The Views!  We’ve had a rip roarin’ time at these get-togethers, so please come and join us for drinks, nibbles and lots of laughs. 

  • TENNIS CLINICS.  Glenn Morse’s Tennis Clinics still have a couple of openings! Glenn’s clinics are famous for improving your game!  Sign up HERE.
