We hope everyone has had a great summer and are headed back to SCOV Tennis soon!  It’s been a hot summer on the courts here in Sun City, but with cooler temps (92 degrees…oohhh, sweater weather!) comes even more tennis!

 

 

Restringing Your Racket 

Some of you have asked where you can find the best place to get your racket restrung. Well, thanks to Glenn Morse (restringing expert), we have information for you. According to Glenn it is El Conquistador Pusch Ridge Tennis Club. They do excellent work and turn-around time is within 1 or 2 days. Plus, it’s not that far away; off Oracle where the Hilton is located. Their telephone number is 520-544-1780. Thanks, Glenn!

 

IF YOU MUST PLAY ONE SPORT…

Make it Tennis!  A very interesting article appeared in a recent issue of The Atlantic on-line magazine. The author makes the case that tennis is the best sport to play (of course!). Check it out here.

 

Annual Tennis Club Membership Dues

A reminder that your Tennis Club membership is due to renew sometime over the next few months on the anniversary date of your payment last year. You will get an email from the website, but your membership will renew automatically on that date as long as your payment info is the same as last year. If anything has changed there will be instructions on how to update your info and pay your dues directly. Note: You must be logged into the website before you attempt to pay. Otherwise the system will think you are trying to join all over again. There is a Log In button on the website header and a link in the email.
